This is my second year teaching, and I could not be more excited to be at Heritage Elementary! I graduated from Travelers Rest High in 2009 and went to college at North Greenville University where I earned a BA in Elementary Education. I had the privilege of student teaching at Heritage, as well as working as a long-term sub in third grade. In December of 2014 I earned my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.
I am married to an amazing man, Justin Washburn, who was my middle and high school sweetheart. We do not have any children yet, but we do have a large dog named Lucie. A few of my favorite things include: coffee, the color turquoise, chocolate, the Atlanta Braves, North Carolina Tarheels, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
